Vermontville Township Tax Information
The Vermontville Township Treasurer's Office mails tax statements twice a year to property owners on July 1st and December 1st. The tax statements are mailed to the property owner, and tax statements may also be provided to mortgage companies upon their request. Current tax information is available online at Vermontville Township Internet Services. Residents may look up their taxes at no charge. A $2.00 fee is required if looking up information on property not owned by the user.
Summer Taxes
Summer tax statements are mailed July 1st and are payable July 1st through September 14th without interest. The county operating portion and the school state education taxes are included on the summer tax statement.
Winter Taxes
Winter tax statements are mailed December 1st and are payable December 1st through February 14th. All approved millages are included on the winter tax statements. If you have a PRE (Principal Residence Exemption) on your property, it will show on the winter tax statement.

Tax payments may also be made at the Vermontville Township Office, 120 E First Street. Office hours are posted on the front window. A locked drop box is located outside of the township office for your convenience. Cash payment is not recommended to be left in the drop box. Receipts are available in person or can be mailed to you by including a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. Property tax payments not received in the Vermontville Township Office on or before February 28th must be paid to the Eaton County Treasurer's Office.
